“For the people. With the people.”

Today, I’m honored to announce that I am running to be the next Lieutenant Governor of New Mexico. The people of this great state deserve leadership that will fight with them and for them, every single day.

This is our time to rise up, to move forward, and to build a future that reflects the strength, the resilience, and the promise of our people.

This campaign is about all of us. From families working two jobs to make ends meet, seniors who struggle on a fixed income, our youth who are struggling to find their path, veterans who served their country and now need their country to serve them, and teachers, nurses, small business owners, and every New Mexican who just wants a fair shot and a future filled with dignity, opportunity, and hope.

As a State Senator, I’ve always believed that public service means putting people first. That’s why I’ve taken on the tough fights because it’s what’s right for all of us. But the work is far from over — especially with the return of Donald Trump and the extremist movement he leads. Let’s be clear: the Trump agenda is a direct threat to New Mexico — to making ends meet, to our  economy, to our schools, our health care, our environment, our democracy, and our way of life. And we can’t afford to sit back while right-wing politicians try to turn back the clock.

I’m running for Lieutenant Governor to fight for all of us. I’ll represent our voices at the table. I’ll stand up to the extremists. And I’ll push for bold policies that make life better for all New Mexicans — not just the wealthy and well-connected.

Together, we will:

• Invest in our people — through higher wages, high quality jobs, a just and inclusive economy, better schools, and improved access to affordable health care.
• Protect what matters — our people, our environment, our democracy, our fundamental rights, and an economy that works for us, not the billionaires and greedy corporations.
• Uplift every community — rural and urban, north and south, and our Indigenous communities. No one should be forgotten or left behind.
• Stand up to extremism — defending our New Mexico values from the Trump administration and anyone who would undermine our values or attack our rights.

I’ve spent my adult life in public service as an Air Force Officer, working in city government, non-profit leadership, and in the New Mexico State Senate. I’ve walked the path of the people, and I carry our voices with me into every room. As Lieutenant Governor, I’ll never forget who I work for — the people of New Mexico.

This campaign is about hope. It’s about possibility. It’s about all of us — not the powerful few. We are strongest when we lead with unity, compassion, and courage.
